Our Story
Don Rouse founded Rouse Residential Structural Inspections in 2024. He had thought about it for several years and decided it was time. He received a Civil Engineering (Construction Option) degree from NC State University in 1974. Don spent nearly 50 years in the construction industry with the majority of that time spent in the family business, R.N. Rouse & Co. He obtained his Professional Engineer License (#010970) in 1983 and that license has been active and current ever since. He also has his General Contractor License and although the license is current he is not taking on any new projects. With his background in general construction and his engineering training, Don is uniquely qualified to evaluate and make recommendations regarding residential structural issues.
